Who are Main Event Barrier Systems?

We were established more than 35 years ago and primarily offered services to the Retail, Education, Health, Leisure and Hospitality sectors, but we now have a huge customer base covering both the Public and Private sector. Our offering has always kept pace with the changing times, whilst retaining our core values of quality, keen pricing and above all, good old fashioned customer service. We’ve always looked to market products that our clients can have confidence in and that will perform as they expect over long periods of time.

Our dedicated Hire Team have successfully provided equipment for hundreds of events each year and regularly support retail during their busy sales periods. Our fleet of Retractable Barriers, A4 Sign tops, Chrome posts, Ropes and Sign posts offer a variety of solutions. We can assist you with your requirements by email or telephone. Main Event is proud to be partnered with Tensator® and offer the Tensabarrier® range of products. Theirs were the first Retractable Safety Barriers to the market and they are still the market leaders offering second to none reliability in their field.

We also offer a full range of Rope Stanchions in Black, Brass or Chrome finishes at various price points and our Barrier Ropes can be purchased either at our standard length in a range of colours and hook finish options, or as part of our Bespoke Rope Made to Measure service. Special colours are also available and we welcome your enquiries if you need something more unusual.

Museum Barriers are one of our newer products, a low level, knee-high post utilising elasticated cord as the barrier mechanism and these are ideal for exhibits and allowing close quarter viewing of artworks, sculptures and other installations without obscuring the viewing experience but still providing the distancing required.

For urgent orders with immediate deadlines, depending on stock availability of the product required, we can offer a same day or next day dedicated courier delivery service at an additional charge.
