Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

To Cancel an Order you can either:


a) Telephone us on 01675 464224 to ascertain whether it can be cancelled in time to prevent dispatch. We do however then require you to confirm your cancellation request by email to sales@mainevent.co.uk

 Or

b) You can cancel an order via the MY ACCOUNT function on the website, Should you need further assistance, please telephone us on 01675 464224.


What will I be refunded if I cancel the order before it has been dispatched?

  • Consumer (A person who purchases for their own use, rather than a business): Full Refund*
  • Business:  Full refund of contract value.*

*Please note this does not apply to Made to Order, Bespoke, Built to Order or Customised Products see below

 *Consumer and Business: You may be charged a Manufacturing Fee of up to 100% of the contract value.


What will I be refunded if I cancel the order after it has been dispatched? 

Consumer**: If you want to cancel for any reason, including changing your mind, you must notify us as required above by emailing sales@mainevent.co.uk within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. You will be given a Full Refund including the cost charged to you for despatch (if any). If we arrange collection for you we will reduce the value of the refund by the cost of the collection, you may incur an additional administration charge. **Please note this does not apply to Made to Order, Bespoke, Built to Order or Customised Products. (See Below)


Business**: If you want to cancel for any reason, including changing your mind, you must notify us as required above by emailing sales@mainevent.co.uk within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. You will be given a Refund equal to the Full value of contract value less a 30% restocking fee. However if you are cancelling and reordering another product or products to a similar value or more, at  management discretion, the re-stocking fee may not be applied. **Please note this does not apply to Made to Order, Bespoke, Built to Order or Customised Products. (See Below)


**Consumer and Business: You will be charged a Manufacturing Fee of up to 100% of the contract value for Made to Order, Bespoke, Built to Order or Customised Products.

All Returns

For returns please contact us via sales@mainevent.co.uk or call us on 01675 464224 we will issue a Returns Authorisation Code.

Returns should be authorised within 14 days from the date of delivery to you. 

All refunds will be processed within 7 days from the day the returned item is received by our warehouse and made to the account/card used for the original purchase. 

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Made to Order, Bespoke, Built to Order or Customised Products are non-returnable/refundable.


Damaged/Faulty Products

If your return is due to damage or a faulty product (s) please contact us detailing the damage or fault. Photographic evidence may be asked.

Please pack the goods for return in the original packaging.

Refunds will be processed after the return has been received.

Refunds for Damaged/Faulty products will not be made until the original product (s) have been received back to our warehouse and inspected for the Damage/Fault.


 Unwanted Products

If your return is due to unwanted product (s) please contact us with your request.

For online and telephone orders you have 14 days from delivery of your products to cancel your order.

As carriage costs are not retrievable, we are unable to refund any carriage costs.


The purchaser is responsible for returns postage/carriage charges. If we arrange collection for you we will reduce the value of the refund by the cost of that collection.

Refunds for unwanted products will not be made until the original product has been received back to us in the condition it was sent, within 14 days of a returns authorisation being issued.

Products must be returned unused and in their original packing. If items are received back at our warehouse in a condition less than that of original despatch, you may only receive a partial refund. (Based on condition)

**A re-stocking charge of 30% of Invoice value plus collection charge will apply for all Business orders.

We try to respond to messages within 48 hours, please bear with us as on occasion volumes of emails can increase. If you do not receive a reply to your email within 4 days, it may mean that we have not received your email. If so could you forward a copy of your email to sales@mainevent.co.uk and we will respond as quickly as possible.
