Delivery of Purchase Equipment

(The following does not apply to Hired equipment however)


Delivery dates are estimated at the time or ordering, and confirmed only when you order has been despatched.

Delivery can be anytime between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs (in practice 08:30 - 17:00hrs is more likely).

If you need your order today we can usually help by arranging a Same-day Courier additional charges would apply.

Printed/Bespoke products are not available for Same/Next-day delivery.

Carriage is normally Free of Charge for orders over £300 +vat in a single delivery to UK Mainland only.

For orders under £300 +vat Delivery charge of £14.50+ vat will normally apply.

Delivery charge may be less than £14.50 for small items weighing less than 1kg.


Special services such as Saturday or Early Morning Deliveries are sometimes available.

There is usually a supplement for Northern Ireland, Channel islands, & Scottish Highlands & Islands.

Main Event Products Ltd are currently unable to offer exports to the EU and Worldwide.

There may be an additional charge to enable us to deliver bulky items to certain locations.

Bulky items may include (but not limited to): Display Panels, Steel Barriers & Tensaguide Plus.



Who delivers my products?


The majority of our deliveries are made by National Carriers . Services not available are unpacking, moving into specific areas or telephoning prior to delivery. (This does not apply to Hired equipment deliveries)

Tracking and Proof of Delivery is available on some orders.

Supplements will nearly always apply to Scotland, Offshore Islands & Northern Ireland. However other areas may also be subject to a supplement. This will be advised at time of order. 

Should a fork-lift not be available for heavy or bulky items, some assistance may be required in unloading, please advise us of any such concerns; we will always endeavor to resolve these.


Lead Times


To fulfill larger quantities than would be considered normal for a stock product may need to be manufactured especially from scratch. This can significantly increase the lead times.

Lead times can also be further increased by increasing quantities and by each additional manufacturing process, such as galvanising, powder coating etc.

Lead times can increase if stock levels are depleted by an unusual number of orders for a given product.

We will always endeavor to update you with any revision to the estimated lead times.

Time is also not of the essence with regard to these delivery dates. If no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days of the date of the invoice/confirmation email, unless there are exceptional circumstances. 


If an extended period for delivery has not been stipulated by us in the order confirmation and you have not received the ordered goods within five working days of receipt of the email confirming dispatch of the specified goods, you must inform us in writing by no later than 5pm on the sixth working day after the day of receipt of the Confirmation.


In the event that we receive notification that a proof of delivery has been signed by a third party after the Longstop Date, but it is alleged that no goods have been received we shall not be liable to refund or replace the ordered goods unless expressly agreed by us in writing.


We shall have no Liability to you for any:-

  • Consequential and/or indirect losses;
  • Loss of profits and/or damage to goodwill;
  • Special damages, economic and/or other similar losses;
  • Exemplary, additional, aggravated and/or punitive damages
  • Business interruption, loss of business, contracts, opportunity and/or production
